Forum Participation can Drive Traffic to your Website


If you have the time to interact with people on the various forums, you will find that it drives a great amount of traffic to your bands website (assuming you put a link to your website in your forum signature).

Forums are yet another great social networking tool that you can use to promote your band. It is however important to mention that we are not talking about spaming forums. I am talking about contributing in whatever manner you can to forums on topics that you are interested in.

Perhaps a fan site for a popular band that you emulate, or enjoy would be a great place to participate. By including yourself in the discussion, with a link to your website, people will go to your website, and may become your fans.

Set a goal for yourself
Your Marketing plan should include visiting forums (multiple) each and every day, and responding to at least one post, and helping in whatever way you can (again, not spam!). This combined with your other efforts will get you ahead of your competition.
