Newsletters and Email Campaigns get the word out to your FansNewsletters are a great way to get the word out to your fans. New records, new gigs, new drummer, etc. All are great reasons to send out an email to your fans. When you are in contact with your fans, always get their email addresses. Have a paper they can put their email addresses down at your gigs, and have a place on your website for them to subscribe to your email newsletter. They will really appreciate your band keeping them up to date on what is going on. Release things first to your fans via the newsletter! a great way of rewarding your fans is giving them anything you have first. If you are going to put a single online, do so, and send them a private link a week before everyone else can download it. Those are your true fans, and will help create a 'BUZZ' around your new single. Need a good turnout for a gig or festival you are playing? Send a newsletter out to your fans. They are usually willing to help you get some extra exposure! Also, you never know who has signed up for your newsletter, it could be a record exec. Always treat your fans as if they were the record exec, and as if they pay your bills, after all thats what you hope they will do someday right? It's all because of the fans. Keep them informed with your newsletter.
